About Woodhaven
Forest and Nature School
Woodhaven provides opportunities for children to connect with nature and learn in natural settings. We provide placed-based education using a Forest and Nature School philosophy. This approach uses repeated access to the same natural space to encourage and develop connection to the land. Learning is child-led and educators utilize children’s curiosity and interests to guide the learning process, with child-led play being a central part of learning.

Preschool Nature Programs
Programming for children ages 2 to 5 along with a caregiver.
Summer/Winter break Camps
A nature camp offering nature activities, child-led experiences and learning, and outdoor skills development.
Nature Events for Children ages 6+
PD day and weekend programming for children. Providing opportunities to engage, connect and learn in nature-based settings.
